THE EVENT: YES, THE VENUE OF ST.PETE FORUM, NO WA!
I would never repeat such an experience at the St. Pete Forum. The presentation of Todd Rundgren's music was wonderful. The handling of the event by St. Pete Forum was atrocious. My main complaint has to do with management, aside from the fact that the place is freezing cold due to ice under the floor. Getting in would have been faster and easier at the normal entrance, not the handicapped entrance where the wait was well over 35 minutes for one elevator. I called ahead about needing a wheelchair which, once there, was not available. Our seats, for $45 each, were terrible with lights from the stage directly in our eyes. I was embarrassed and worried about the 87-year-old friend I was "treating" for Christmas.
